TRAILER MUSIC REDEFINED: THE TUTORS

Trailer Music Redefined is hosted by 3 tutors that are professionals both in the field of trailer music production and publishing.

Trailer Music Redefined’s tutors: (from left to right) Mathieu Hallouin, Tim Stoney & Walid Feghali

First of which is Mathieu Hallouin, a mixing engineer, trailer music publisher and musician based in Le Mans, France. His intensive work as a supervisor with L.A. based labels such as Dos Brains has lead him and his companies to gain widespread recognition in the trailer music industry, landing music in campaigns such as Avengers, Captain America, Maze Runner, and more.

The course’s second tutor is Tim Stoney, who is a trailer music composer and orchestrator based in the UK. Having worked for years as an orchestrator for Video Games Live and freelancing, he began his trailer music career working with Dos Brains. Tim has since worked with other companies such as Epic Score and Cavalry Music. Tim’s music can be heard in the campaigns for Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Venom, Call of Duty: WWII and more.

The third tutor in the trio is Evenant co-founder Walid Feghali. As a Swedish award-winning composer, concept artist, mechanical engineer and entrepreneur, Walid has always been dedicated to trying new fields of study, exploring, creating, traveling and collaborating. This has lead him to compose orchestral film scores for feature films and games, trailer music placements in many Hollywood campaigns such as Independence Day 2, Warcraft, Starcraft 2, Call of Duty, creating concept art for the same industry, a mechanical engineering degree, and more.
