Klavier Gravitas & Red Planet are part of Audio Imperia’s Private Stock Series which was originally designed as a private sample library for a selected group of trailer composers only.
The two instruments take a different approach on piano sampling by combining multi-mic’d, organic recordings of a grand piano with sound design elements and electric guitars. By using the interface’s big knob, you can seamlessly blend between a pristine, pure piano sound and a wealth of synthesized pads and atmospheres.
While Gravitas uses processed versions of the original piano recordings for creating the pad sounds, Red Planet utilizes a host of complex electric guitar recordings, to achieve an outer-space feeling inspired by Harry Gregson-Williams’ soundtrack for the Hollywood blockbuster ‘The Martian’.
