Spitfire Audio has released “Thematic Horns”, the latest addition to their acclaimed Abbey Road One Film Scoring Selections. This user-friendly, great-sounding library features what the company calls “the sound of instant cinema” – an 8-piece horn section recorded by first-call London session players in the world-famous Abbey Road Studio One.

This brand new release from Spitfire Audio features a string quintet recorded in Studio Two at Abbey Road Studios, London – the exact spot where other legendary bands and artists like The Beatles or Pink Floyd have recorded their masterpieces.
Abbey Road One: Orchestral Foundations is Spitfire Audio’s very first collaboration with the iconic British Abbey Road Studios. It seeks to capture the highly-praised sound that Studio One has infused countless orchestral film soundtracks with. This includes featuring the same players, instruments, microphones, and gear that was used on scores by film composer greats like John Williams, Howard Shore, or Alan Silvestri.
