RT Sonics – Cinematic World (Review)
Today we will be checking Cinematic World, a brand new library developed by RT Sonics. Cinematic World was released just a few weeks ago and features more than 600 cinematic sound effects designed for trailers, movies, and video games. The library was created by several award-winning sound designers, whose work can be heard in many AAA productions.
Keepforest – Ferrum (Review)
Keepforest is back with a new, hard-hitting sample library: Ferrum – Modern Trailer Percussion. As the caption suggests, Ferrum is a massive percussion instrument geared towards trailer music and cinematic music production. It offers a large collection of highly processed cinematic percussion that ranges from epic trailer hits and ensemble drums to various metals, cymbals, foley percussion, and more.
Orchestral Tools – Inspire Bundle for SINE (Review)
The Inspire SINE Bundle combines the two symphonic orchestral libraries Berlin Orchestra Inspire 1 and Berlin Orchestra Inspire 2, which are designed as a comprehensive sketching tool for modern-day film composers. The samples are taken from Orchestral Tools’ flagship Berlin series and were streamlined for composers with smaller setups or mobile working environments.
Heavyocity – Damage 2 (Review)
New York-based sample library developer Heavyocity just released Damage 2, the successor to probably one of the best-selling and most widely used cinematic percussion libraries on the market. Damage 2 comes with a huge collection of freshly recorded and processed percussion goodness and seeks to up the ante with massively brutal drum sound design.
8Dio – Hybrid Tools Phenex Bundle (Review)
Phenex is the latest addition to 8Dio’s massively popular Hybrid Tools series of cinematic sound design products. In contrast to its predecessors though, this new sample library isn’t so much about spectacular sound effects like impacts, risers, drones, and the like, but focuses more on the musical, evocative side of production.
